ASOS & Monki Haul!

Woah, look at that - two consecutive weekly posts?! I'm a new person. This week I decided to treat myself to a huge load of clothes from both ASOS and Monki as a treat for finishing exams - though I still have 2 left #sophielogic. I spent a lot of money (a lot for someone earning £3.79 an hour anyway...) and came out with a lot; only sending one thing back! However, I didn't think it a good idea to show you everything so I chose my 6 favourite items. The photos were all taken in different places, around my room lol, to hopefully spruce this otherwise mundane post up!

This is Monki's Paula Top, which was £10. Honestly, I didn't realise it was going to be so oversized but that may have been because I didn't read what I was buying properly, oops. This is one of my favourite purchases from the load, it's so soft and comfy and just yes.

Aside from the fact that I love this photo, I love this top. It's from Monki, is named Louise Blouse and was quite pricey at £25. I think it's worth it, I don't particularly know why. It's better than t shirt quality, though not quite a traditional blouse. I love the colours and the pattern and it's just so #quirky.

ASOS New Look Suedette T-Shirt Dress in Camel for £27.99. I don't really know what to say about this, it's suede and baggy and a bit too plain on it's own; hence the necklace. I have no idea what shoes I am going to wear with this which is my biggest problem right now.

The messiness of my room is obvious but the cuteness of this ASOS Reclaimed Vintage Pinafore Dress In Rose Tapestry Print (£40) is not shown by this picture. I struggled photographing this in an attractive light. I know, it looks like your nans curtains - but isn't that what vintage is?! This is so far out of my comfort zone yet I am so in love with it.

Am I cool yet? I know pinafore's are supposed to be baggy (I think?) but I got this in a size lower than I am because I was so desperate to have it but they only had it in one size. It is extremely short and was suggested by one of my lovely pals Lizzie that I get some super cute tights to go with it, so that is what I shall do. The top is Monki's Pim Tee for £8 and Monki's Julia Denim Dress for £35. A pretty expensive but lovely outfit.

So there's my 6 favourites! I know I drabble on for a lot of this and it's probably quite boring but if you only look at the pictures then I guess that's okay too. In future, as it gets towards summer, I may do something like this from my garden; I'm not sure if that would be something interesting?! My next post will be coming at ya soon with something more #deep than this. Hope you enjoyed.

My new puppies!

So as per usual, my resolution to start blogging more fell by the wayside - whoops. I'm finally in the home run (loL) of exam season and obviously doing two English AS Levels wasn't enough so here I am, blogging again.

Recently my life has changed a little, for the better. We have two new additions to the family! If you follow me on any form of social media (links somewhere xo) you will know because I post pictures of them ALL THE TIME. But, when you see them you will understand why. They're F1 Cockapoo's, one chocolate and one apricot/cream. I made an instagram for them if you want to follow them, the username is MollyandBelle .

This is Molly.
She's about`10 weeks old, and we have had her for just over 3. Her nickname is psycho, because she is crazy! She bounces everywhere and puts anything & everything in her mouth. She's extremely clever and is toilet trained already! She's a real cutie and has won over all of our hearts.

 This is Belle.

She is TINY. We've nicknamed her Guinea pig because she is so small. We got her 2 weeks after Molly but don't let her size fool you - she's feisty! However, she loves cuddles and chewing on your finger (apparently it's because she's teething...) She definitely lives up to her name of being beautiful - note the Disney reference.

I'm well aware I sound like a crazy dog lady, but look at them. They are so cute. Famous signing off blogpost words: I'm hoping to start posting more. But seriously, I am. I went to America recently (Florida & NYC) so I may do a post containing some pictures of that trip.

Love,
Sophie x

Ps. If you don't find my dogs cute, don't tell me.
